Overture 1928-Dream Theater

This instrumental track opens Dream Theater's mystery drama concept album, Scenes from a Memory. With Dream Theater's signature complexity and light metally rock sound, "Overture 1928" takes the listener into a state of exploration and adventure. It held the title of my favorite instrumental music piece for four years until another, which will be a future Song of the Day, took its place. "Overture 1928" is the perfect song to kick off this blog.
